In this chapter, we learned about the Data Pump architecture, how to configure it, and how to use it through some interesting hands-on scenarios. Furthermore, in the next chapter we will learn about playing with some advanced hands-on scenarios that will make you fall in love with Data Pump. Some examples of what we will see are data masking with Data Pump, creating smaller copies of production, migrating data for upgrade, downgrading an Oracle database, Data Pump flashback, and monitoring and performance tuning of Data Pump jobs.
