jQuery

jQuery has been with us since 2004 and is constantly getting updated and new releases are coming to this day. It is safe to say that jQuery is the most popular and well-known JavaScript library in the world and, based on information from Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JQuery), over 77% of 10 million websites are using it.

I’ll try to explain to you, in a nutshell, why AC uses jQuery and what methods and features are used the most. After that, we’ll jump into how we can customize and use jQuery to customize our theme. Keep in mind that this is not a jQuery course, but I think the examples I’ll provide will be enough to get you started.

jQuery simplifies many common web tasks and provides consistent, reliable functionality across different browsers.
