Oversubscription

In this recipe, you will learn how to turn on oversubscription, a module that enables Mesos to make use of allocated but unused resources.

How to do it...

Mesos comes with the basic implementation of the resource estimator and QoS controller, provided the estimator returns a fixed value each time. The QoS controller is a little bit more advanced because it monitors the system and revokes all slack resources when the system load is too high:
