Summary

This chapter dealt with tools appropriate for data mining and explored modules such as stats (for statistics), spatial (for data structures), and cluster (for clustering and vector quantization). In the next chapter, additional functionalities included in the SciPy module, scipy.spatial, will be studied, complementing the ones already explored in previous chapters. As usual, each function introduced will be illustrated via non-trivial examples which can be enriched modifying the IPython Notebook corresponding to this chapter.
