What are integrations?

When completing the project requirements phase of the project, it’s very important that you identify what integrations you’ll need. Knowing what the applications are and where they are located will help you make a determination as to the type of integration required, but we need to understand what integrations are.

Integration is best described as a method that allows for the transmission of data between different applications. These applications can be on different platforms, such as on-prem or cloud, can be on different operating systems such as Windows or Unix, and can be managed by different companies. Integrations are a very powerful way to allow for data sharing throughout a company.
