Converting MP3 files to WAV files

In this recipe, we will learn how to convert an MP3 file to a WAV file, which can then be played on the Circuit Playground Express. MP3 files are one of the most popular sound file formats around. This recipe is very useful for when you have an audio clip that you want to include in your embedded project, but need to get it in the right format so that it can play back correctly.

Getting ready

You will need to download and install the open source audio editing software, Audacity. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
