How to get help

There are several resources that offer help in TouchDesigner. First and foremost, there is the Wiki, which can be accessed from within TouchDesigner, along with the forum and the tutorials. There are lots of video tutorials online too. Finally, there are the operator snippets. Accessible via the Help menu in TD, we can find examples of how different operators work and start using these right away. If you are lost while finding help on 3D or procedural modeling, look into other environments' tutorials too, or look for more general information about 3D, OpenGL, or modeling techniques. Since we are modeling procedurally in TD, and TouchDesigner is a derivative of a SideFX software called Houdini, you might also look at Houdini's video tutorials on modeling. Houdini and TouchDesigner don't work exactly the same, but they have many things in common, and we can adopt many techniques documented rather for Houdini users.
