Summary
In this chapter, we have added sensors to our robot, letting it build up a picture of the robot. We’ve seen how we can surface that sensor data over MQTT, which lets us plug in ways to consume the data.We’ then built a visualization and plotting system using ChartJS to view the data, so we can see what the sensors are seeing, dealing with some of the problems with the data on the way.In the next chapter, we will be building upon this with behaviors to consume the sensor data and avoid obstacles with it.
