Summary

The introduction of Copilot into Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform is a giant step forward for all business users in terms of how they interact with the various services that they use on a day-to-day basis. It is also a great show of strength in the partnership between Microsoft and OpenAI, who are trying to accelerate the rate at which new AI experiences are brought to the business user.

Copilot is being added to multiple services, most notably to Power Apps, which is going to allow us to generate data models and apps by simply describing what we want to an AI-driven chat bot. This means that we can use natural language to build the foundations of our apps rather than building everything from scratch, which ultimately is going to save us time.

We should remember that Copilot is going to be there as an assistant, not a replacement for human intelligence. We still need to build on and maintain all of the skills that we have learned throughout this book, as Copilot...
