All CSAs

A CSA role generally requires a degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or even electrical engineering to a lesser extent. Another approach would be to gain hands-on experience along the way; this would be the rough equivalent of the degrees mentioned previously. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud are the most sought-after cloud computing platforms that are leveraged by companies looking for an experienced CSA, but it is not uncommon to see open positions requiring experience with Alibaba, IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud as well. Regardless of the cloud provider platform, experience with infrastructure automation tools is typically listed in job postings for a CSA as knowledge about these tools is necessary to perform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation.
