Other tools available to monitor Q replication
There are a few non replication tools and tasks available to help with monitoring Q replication.
The database layer
The tools available in the DB2 layer are described next.
Optim Data Studio
Optim Data Studio (or the DB2 Control Center main screen) can be used to check that there are connections to the source and target databases.
The DB2 Health Center
The Health Center can be used to raise alerts if the instances containing the source and target databases become inactive.
The WebSphere MQ layer

The WebSphere MQ Explorer
If the MQ layer is not functioning correctly, then Q replication will not work. This GUI is a good way to quickly check if the Listeners and Channels for each Queue Manager are running.
