You will begin with a look "under the hood" to see what makes Meteor so special. Next, you will build a complete, working application from scratch, gaining a thorough understanding of Meteor's major features including: data on the wire, web templates, declarative programming, full-stack reactivity, modularity, third-party packages, and MongoDB/NoSQL databases. Finally, you will learn how to harden your app, prepare it for production release, and quickly deploy it using Meteor's public servers or your own custom server.
