Creating and Modifying Text in the Geometry Node Editor
In the previous chapter, we introduced you to the spreadsheet. In this chapter, we will introduce you to another important part of the Geometry Nodes world, the String system. This is also referred to as the Text system of the Geometry Node editor. You will learn about how strings work and function in the Geometry Node editor. You will also learn how to modify and create strings on your own.
Using strings along with Geometry Nodes is a great skill to have if you want to visualize anything text-related procedurally.
In this chapter, we’ll cover the following topics:
- Introducing strings
- Exploring the nodes we will use in this chapter
- Converting strings into a usable mesh
- Exercise – creating a procedural 3D ambigram
