PacktLib now Offers a Subscription Library for Packt’s Games Books

Packt has today announced a new subscription on PacktLib for Games developers. For an annual price of $120, subscribers get access to a growing library currently totalling 36 books covering everything any serious game developer will need to improve their skills. From CryENGINE, Cocos2d and XNA to Packt’s bestselling Unity Game Development Essentials, which is being relaunched for 3.x in November, this library has it covered.

The Gaming library consists of information about building fun games and multiplayer games using several different programmes, including a large selection of Unity books in one convenient resource. Readers will be able to develop and customise game projects using the Unity 3D game engine, learn the essential skills for Flash game development, create video games using the XNA Game Studio platform to improve the appearance of games and using 3D graphics for stunning visual designs, master the essentials of level design and environment creation using the Unreal Development Kit 2 Beginner’s Guide and much more. Moreover, subscribers will be able to write games for different operating systems, such as Unity for iOS for mobile game development on the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad or alternatively develop games for Windows Phone 7 using XNA.
