VMware, Inc. is an American software company that provides cloud and virtualization software and services. VMware's desktop software runs on Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, while VMware's enterprise software hypervisors for servers, VMware ESX and VMware ESXi, are bare-metal embedded hypervisors that run directly on server hardware without requiring an additional underlying operating system.

Implementing VMware Horizon View 5.2 will provide readers with the information they need to deploy and administer their own end-user computing infrastructure. This includes not only the View components, but details on key topics such as assessing virtual desktop resource needs, and how to optimize a Virtual Desktop Master Image. The book then looks at View Client options and desktop maintenance. The book will show readers how to design, implement, and administrate a complex, optimized desktop virtualization solution with VMware View.
