Packt is pleased to announce the release of Instant Cinema 4D Starter a new book teaching the users nuances of Cinema 4D right from the basic interfaces. Covering the 3D packages the book is designed to take 3D artists through the most prevalent 3D packages on the market

About the Author:

Aaron Kaminar: Aaron is a visual effects supervisor and director and served as a visual effects supervisor at two facilities: Reality Check Systems and IE Effects. He has extensive experience in VFX, motion graphics. A few of his clients include: Sony, New Line, ESPN, NFLN, Columbia, Falcon's Treehouse etc.

The book begins with an installation and calibration of Cinema 4D and teaches the basics of navigating the C4D interface. With the help of a tutorial, artists can import vector artwork from a 2D logo and will learn how to build it up to a geometric 3D model. They will be able to use a free plugin to shatter the logo geometry, and a module named MoGraph to animate it, thereby helping to render the scene.

Readers will learn the important rules of operation that carry over throughout the entire application. They will learn to build a 3D logo from vector artwork and shatter a 3D object using a free 3D plugin. Using a special camera rig used by motion graphics professionals, readers will learn to light a 3D scene in Cinema 4D and set up the physical render engine in Cinema 4D to achieve a photorealistic effect effortlessly.

This book has been designed in such a way that artists with no prior experience in Cinema 4D will also find it as an excellent tutorial. The book is out now and is available with Packt. For more information, please visit the book page at Instant Cinema 4D Starter
