Part 1: Getting Started with the SharePoint Framework

Part 1 starts with explaining the history of SPFx, its capabilities, and the core building blocks around it, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Teams, and so on. It also details how to set SPFx up on your local machine to begin the development. In this part, we also outline a technical solution based on fictitious requirements, which will enable us to demonstrate a specific functionality in each subsequent chapter offered by SPFx through practical business examples.
