What is a ListView Command Set?
An SPFx ListView Command Set (a type of SPFx extension) is a component that allows us to add custom options to the command bar or context menu of SharePoint lists and libraries. These custom commands provide additional functionality that we can perform on selected items or lists.
Why is it needed?
The default command bar and context menu in SharePoint may not always meet all the requirements for an organization. SPFx ListView Command Sets enable us to extend these menus with custom actions that meet the requirements of specific business processes that might be around integrating with external systems or enhancing user productivity.
