When I first started reading this book, I expected it to be a Nancy wiki written in somewhat more "official" way. But I was pleasantly surprised - by no means it is a copy of the freely available guidance.This book is an excellent resource of knowledge for anyone that has a vary vague idea about what Nancy is and would like to see what's it like to write applications using this awesome framework in contrast to, let's say, ASP.NET MVC.What I appreciate in technical books is the promoting of best development practices. Author of "Instant Nancy Development" focuses on Test Driven Development (using the great xunit framework) and explains how Nancy makes unit testing easy by introducing a dedicated library just for that purpose.I read the whole book cover-to-cover in 50 minutes. While I have not learnt very much myself (I use Nancy on a daily basis and have given several technical talks about it, so I know it pretty well), I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the "standard" Microsoft web frameworks. You invest one hour of your day, and this hour can change the way you will work on your next project. Or maybe you'd be tempted to just "inject" Nancy in your current project, even if it is a service or a desktop application? This book will teach you how to do it.On the other hand, if you are familiar with Nancy and it's concepts or are using it in your project, you would probably not learn a lot. But this is just how Nancy is built and why we love it: you don't need a specialized course or a 1000 pages book to be highly effective in your development work.In summary: great job!

Great book for beginners or people that just want to know what Nancy is and for what can be used. Its more like tutorial, guiding reader step by step.This book is not for Nancy developers that are working with framework for more than few weeks.pros:* Unit Testing - how to UT code written in Nancy* easy to follow step by step guide* "easy" language of the author makes reading a book more like reading a good blog post* More real "life" example - todo applicationcons:* step by step guide as ordered number list so its not so clear to read as it could be* something is wrong with kindle version - you need to change font size to almost the largest one to have optimal reading experience

Excellent book! Just 72 pages to get you started from the very basic to advanced Nancy development. I especially liked the early focus on testing and the simple structure of each chapter, or "recipe" as the author calls it: Concise, easy to follow, and informative.

Great read, short and concise, just to the point. Starts with testing which is a great idea and goes all the way to login management, before and after pipelines and other "advanced" concepts. Really a must read for anyone wondering about NancyFX!
