Summary

In this chapter, we covered string, mathematical, and aggregation functions, as well as conversion and additional functions. GQL’s functions equip the language with powerful capabilities to process data to meet a wide range of requirements. These functions can be extended within graph database systems, allowing for enhanced usability as you continue working with GQL.

By the end of this chapter, you should have acquired the essential skills for using GQL, including working with values and value types, combining statements and clauses, and using GQL functions.

In the next chapter, we’ll explore advanced queries and dive deeper into GQL’s capabilities.
