The Judges will be choosing from the five Business Applications that received the most nominations, during the nomination stage. They will be selecting their top three based on a number of factors including maintainability – Security, performance and scalability, usability, size and support from community/commercial support options, marketplace for third party plugins and extensions, customer base – number of business running the application, ease of configuration/ integration with content management systems, customization/adaptability, scalability. The Judging panel is made up from a list of experienced and respected figures in the open source, ecommerce and Business Application industry :

Kevin Haas is a business intelligence technology consultant based in Chicago, IL with over 20 years of experience in databases, predictive analytics and business intelligence. He is a partner at OpenBI, LLC (www.openbi.com), a firm dedicated to open-source business intelligence, analytics and big data solutions. Kevin is a regular speaker at business technology conferences and has written articles for publications including Information Management and Linux Magazine. Paul has been involved in software development for over 10 years, and has developed bespoke e-commerce solutions on behalf of major UK brands.
