This is a practical, hands-on guide that will help the reader get started with Test Studio to design automated solution and tests. The print book comes in at 376 pages and is competitively priced at $54.99, whilst the eBook and Kindle versions are available for $28.04.

About the Author:
Rawane Madi has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and around five years of experience in software testing and automation. She started her career as a Quality Control Engineer at a multinational company. She is a holder of the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification and the author of article reviews on automated testing tools published online on DevPro.

Test Studio is a Windows-based software testing tool for the Web and the desktop; covering functional testing, software performance testing, load testing, and mobile application testing. Test Studio supports HTML, AJAX, Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, and WPF. Test Studio supports test execution in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.

Learning Software Testing with Test Studio will teach readers how to reliably automate test cases when it is time to relinquish the manual testing habit. Through a less-theory and more hands-on approach, this book will show readers how to create, record, and play back functional, performance, and load tests. Furthermore, readers will also learn to insert verification steps, logical constructs, and convenient logging operations, as well as converting test scripts in order to implement keyword and data-driven architectures. This book illustrates how Test Studio can automate pre-conditions, test result inputting, and capture system states during manual test case execution in order to keep the tester’s attention focused on the important details.

The book covers the following essential topics:
Chapter 1: Introduction
Chapter 2: Automating Functional Tests
Chapter 3: Data-driven Tests
Chapter 4: Maintaining Test Elements
Chapter 5: Manual Testing
Chapter 6: Test Lists and Reports
Chapter 7: Performance Testing
Chapter 8: Load Testing
Chapter 9: Mobile Testing
Chapter 10: Tips and Tricks
