About the Author

Dan Menard is a web developer, originally from Canada and now living in California. He currently works at Netflix on the 10’ UI team. Dan has spoken at a number of conferences. He writes lots and lots of Javascript, and has past experience in Adobe Flex, a variety of then-cutting-edge mobile technologies, and a number of legacy java-web frameworks.

AngularJS is an open-source Javascript Framework maintained by Google, that assists with running what are known as single-page applications. Its goal is to augment browser-based applications with model-view-controller(MVC) capability, in an effort to make both development and testing easier.

Instant AngularJS Starter is designed to let readers learn everything about AngularJS in as few pages and with as many examples as possible. The book starts with basic AngularJS syntax, followed by examples on how to build scalable AngularJS applications. With a foundational understanding of AngularJS in place, readers will learn about its advanced features in depth.
