This book begins with an introduction to Highcharts followed by introduction to each type of basic chart, beginning with simple illustrations and ending with more artistic and productive additions to the charts. It guides web developers to use the Highcharts API and events handling which are important to build interactive applications and integrating Highcharts onto a popular AJAX Framework or even jQuery, jQuery Mobile and Ext JS.

Learning Highcharts assists developers to create horizontal gauge chart and projection charts, and use Highcharts event handlers with Ext JS 4. They will be able to build basic charts, axes charts and even advanced web-applications using Highcharts.
