by Mary Cooch | April 2009 | Moodle Open Source

This article is a two-part series by Mary Cooch. This article is about what the students can give back to us and reaches into the heart of Moodle. In this article, we shall encourage our students to join in by:

  • Allowing them to discuss the considerations in choosing the location of this campsite in a safe, moderated forum
  • Giving them an out-of-school hours chatroom in which they can plan their site
  • Asking them to suggest creative names for the site and entering these names in a class glossary
  • Providing a space (in a database) to send in their designs for the teacher to assess and their classmates to view.
