About the Authors:
Mark P.J. van der Loo- Mark P.J. van der Loo has been working with the Dutch Official Statistics Office (Statistics Netherlands) since 2007. He is responsible for the local R center of expertise, which supports and educates users on statistical computing with R. He has been teaching R for several years and co-authored a number of R packages that are available via CRAN.
Edwin de Jonge - Edwin de Jonge has been working in Statistics Netherlands for more than 15 years. He currently works in the Statistical Methodology department. He trained over 150 people in a workshop entitled “Graphical Analysis with R”. Edwin has co-authored several R packages that are available via CRAN.
The book starts with a quick introduction to load data, perform simple analysis, plot a graph, and generate automatic reports. It then moves on to learning the RStudio features to effectively perform statistical analysis and reporting, code editing, and R development.
Learning RStudio for R Statistical Computing teaches to create advanced and interactive graphics and perform code editing and navigation. Readers will learn to build R extension packages and effectively manage their R project files by performing reproducible statistical analyses within the R projects.
