Book Reviews
Steffen Müller: "The first positive impression when unpacking the book was that it covered only 217 pages. It was looking like a book, which can be read entirely without getting tired of stuff you don't want to read anyway. Altogether the book leaves the impression of a solid guide for extension developers. It was quite amusing to read because of its real-world examples."
Patrick Gaumond: "One of my first feelings once I started to read the book was that it will become the de-facto manual for Extension Development courses given by agencies all over the world. It’s really the kind of book you don’t want to skip a paragraph, fearing you’ll miss some good advice. Succinct is a quality."
Mario Rimann: "I really like to see new books about TYPO3 or any other OpenSource Project written by people from the base of such a project. This seems to be a very good way of distributing knowledge from the base, which might be just in the heads of core developers, or hidden somewhere deep down the documentation." |
