Packt announce 2010 Open Source Awards judges

With the voting for the 2010 Open Source Awards beginning, Packt is pleased to announce the judges that will be on the judging panel this year.

In each category there will be a panel of four judges that will vote for the top three projects. A final vote will come from the results of a public vote on www.PacktPub.com

The judges will be choosing from the finalists that received the most nominations during the nomination stage. They will be basing their choices on a number of factors as part of the judging criteria for each category.

The judging panel is made up from a list of experienced and respected figures in the open source industry. For a full list of judges and judging criteria for each category, please see the list below:
