Thomas Thurman

Thomas Thurman has been working with Python for over ten years. He studied at the universities of Hertfordshire and Cambridge, and was the maintainer of the window manager on the Nokia N900, the first phone to run Maemo, the predecessor of MeeGo.

Thomas's background is in window managers; he maintains Metacity, the official window manager of GNOME 2, and is currently researching novel methods of desktop sharing across networks.

Thomas lives in Philadelphia, United States with his family. He works for Collabora, an open source consultancy, and maintains a website at http://thomasthurman.org.
