David Karlins

David Karlins is the author of over a dozen books for Adobe Press including Adobe Creative Suite 5 Web Premium How-Tos: 100 Essential Techniques as well as dozens of other books on graphic, web, and interactive design including Building Websites All-in-One For Dummies and the previous version of this book: Dreamweaver CS5.5 Mobile and Web Development with HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.

David's clients have ranged from Hewlett Packard to the Himalayan Fair. His articles and reviews appear in online and print publications, including at CreativePro and in Macworld magazine. David has taught at the University of California Extension School of Graphic and Interactive Design and the San Francisco State University Digital Video Intensive program.
