We
have one of the fastest timelines in the book-publishing industry
The time it takes to get to first drafts depends on how long the book
is, and how much time you have available to write, and how fast you can
write the material. Packt DEs will be able to offer you advice and
templates to help you develop content faster. Once first drafts are at an acceptable level
of quality, the time to publication is around 3.5 months. This includes
technical reviewing and subsequent revisions by the author, editing,
layout and production, and sending the book to the printer. After the book is published the marketing team takes over.
