in the Southeast by implementing a similar model and approach. With a growing
member base, Atlanta PHP is building a community of professionals dedicated to
the development and proliferation of PHP and related technologies. Atlanta PHP
actively supports its community through sponsorship of networking events,
regular meetings, a community-driven Web site, and mailing lists. Through
partnerships with local, national, and international businesses, Atlanta PHP works
to promote PHP and related technologies across the Southeast.
Joomla!Dallas www.JoomlaDallas.org Joomla!Dallas is a North Texas Joomla! mentoring user group where members help each other learn how to leverage the Joomla! content management system to make sophisticated web-sites for little investment. Our meetings for Joomla! User Group - Dallas / Fort Worth feature workshop sessions and discussion sessions addressing a few aspects of the system where we learn from each other how to build, improve, and maintain full-featured sites. All experience levels are welcomed equally from experienced developers to those setting up their first website. Perl Mongers is a loose association of international Perl User Groups. Cleveland MMUG www.Clevelandmmug.org The Cleveland Macromedia Users Group tackles all subjects pertaining to web design and development, with a focus on Macromedia software to accomplish these tasks. Started in May, 2004, this group has grown to nearly 100 members in less than 18 months. Past speakers have presented on Dreamweaver, ColdFusion, Flash, CSS, and non-Macromedia design topics like Color Theory. Future topics will include Contribute, Director and Captivate, as well as more Dreamweaver, Flash and CSS. Meetings are typically on the fourth Wednesday of the month. In March, 2005, the Cleveland MMUG spun off a ColdFusion group - the Cleveland ColdFusion Users Group - www.clevelandcfug.org.
OINK-PUG is an open group with no membership requirement other than a desire to know more about PHP.
