Safari Books Online, the provider of digital libraries that increase the productivity of IT professionals, today announced an agreement with Packt Publishing to make Packt's books and other technical publications available online to corporate and individual library subscribers. As Packt's first online channel distribution partner, Safari Books Online is enabling its subscribers to benefit from access to one of the most comprehensive lists of copyrighted works on Open Source technologies.
Safari Books Online will upload 20 Packt eBooks initially and plans to eventually include all Packt titles within its digital libraries. Subscribers will be able to search and read Packt books, download chapters, and view the full-text of other types of content within Safari Books Online exclusive content collection comprised of thousands of videos, books, pre-published manuscripts, certification guides, and more.
