 They say ?never judge a book by its cover? and as a publisher we would agree: however, it is difficult not to admire the quality of the photography on Packt?s book covers.
When considering designs for book covers, it was of the utmost
importance to Packt that something was used to reflect the quality and
style of the content. A number of excellent designs were considered,
however none fully matched the expectations of the company. Indecision
remained until Helen Wood got involved. Helen is the wife of Packt
author Tony Wood and web designer for their company Vision with
Technology [www.visionwt.com].
Helen also has experience in print work, which led to her producing
these stunning designs for Packt. The photography used on the covers is
also Helen's own work; there really is no end to her talents! Vision
with Technology specialize in creating user-friendly, accessible
websites built using Content Management Systems. Tony himself wrote on
