Packt is pleased to announce our Oracle Fusion Middleware Author Award
Oracle Fusion Middleware
Oracle’s Fusion Middleware range is the company’s fastest growing business, and used by tens of thousands of customers around the world.
With an expanding portfolio of products, and the constant development of existing ones – there is a clear need to offer books and valuable information to the Oracle community.

Packt Publishing has been serving the Oracle community since 2005, and will be publishing over a dozen Oracle related books this year, across numerous technology areas including Fusion Middleware.
Packt prides itself on one of the most author friendly development processes in the business, where house Editors work hands-on with Authors on each step of the process. Packt is always interested in finding ways to get more people involved in writing, or at least encouraging people to give things a try.

The Fusion Middleware Author Award
Get Creative! Share your knowledge! Increase your profile!
Oracle and Packt are delighted to announce the inaugural Fusion Middleware Author Award. We are looking for individuals who have a great book idea in them, and want to make it happen.
Submit your ideas at Oracle Mix, then we’ll take the most highly thought of, and a judging panel will choose who will get a full Packt book deal, including advance.
Guidelines…
Potential Authors:
Post an idea for your book. It can cover any FMW technology you like, and can be a proposal for a short book, or a long one.
Rather than just offering a title and subtitle, try to give a flavour for the book. Flag up proposed content that might be especially informative, unique or stimulating.
250 words maximum please.
n.b. At Packt, we love books that are really practical and hands on. Tutorials, Beginner's Guides and Cookbooks all fit in our mix. But don’t let this unduly influence you, put forward the book that you think the world needs.

Even if you don’t have your own idea for a book, please let us know what you think of the ideas posted. Please vote and add your comments.
