The Award Judging Panel
The Judges will be choosing from the finalists that received the most nominations during the nomination stage. They will be basing their choices on a number of factors including performance, usability, accessibility, ease of configuration and customization, scalability and security.

Open Source CMS Award Timeline
The Award is split up into two main stages. Firstly, nominations will begin on August 3. This is your chance to put forward your favorite CMS in each category to go through to the final stage of voting, which will be announced towards the end of September; this is when the voting stage begins. Voting closes on October 30, with the winners announced in November.

2008 Open Source CMS Award Judges
The Judges will be choosing from the five Content Management Systems that received the most nominations, during the nomination stage. They will be selecting their top three based on a number of factors including performance, usability, accessibility, ease of configuration and customization, scalability and security. The Judging panel is made up from a list of experienced and respected figures in the open source and Content Management industry:
Scott Goodwin, The Open Source Collective
Award
Judge,
Scott GoodwinScott Goodwin is the President of The Open Source Collective, Inc. He received a B.S. degree in Management Information Systems and an M.B.A  from the University of Southern Mississippi. In the mid-nineties he co-founded what would become a multi-million dollar ecommerce company then sold his interest in 2000. For the last 6 years Scott has been actively involved in the open source community running the varies entities under The Open Source Collective, Inc. including OpenSourceHost.com, and opensourceCMS.com among others.

Andrew Eglinton, Open Source Living
Award Judge, Andrew EglintonAndrew is the founder and editor-in-chief of Open Source Living, a community-driven dynamic archive of Open Source Software (OSS) spanning all major platforms. One of his primary open source interests is in developing intersections between OSS and mainstream audiences; an area in which usability and accessibility play a fundamental role. He works as a freelance information architect, specialising in social media applications.

Nathan Gervais, The Eclipse Foundation
Award
Judge, Nathan Gervais Nathan Gervais is a web developer with the Eclipse Foundation. Eclipse is an open source community whose projects are focused on providing an extensible development platform and application frameworks for building software.

Apoorv Durga, Wipro Technologies
Award
Judge, Apoorv DurgaApoorv is Group Head with the Portals and Content Management (PCM) Group of Wipro Technologies. He helps clients with their PCM strategies and is actively involved in advising them about build/buy decisions, product evaluations, and consulting in various aspects of PCM.

He has a Bachelor's degree in engineering from the Institute of Technology, Varanasi, and a Master's in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Apoorv also writes a sporadic PCM Blog and likes to go roller-skating.
