The Award is split up into two main stages. Firstly, nominations will begin on August 3. This is your chance to put forward your favorite CMS in each category to go through to the final stage of voting, which will be announced towards the end of September; this is when the voting stage begins. 2008: Nominations Open July 14 
We would like you to submit a
nomination for an individual that deserves recognition for the contribution to the development and running of an Open Source Content Management System. The tireless and often unnoticed contributions from enthusiastic individuals are the main reasons why many Open Source CMS's are able to grow and develop. Therefore, Packt feels that it is necessary to identify these individuals and provide them with relevant recognition.
Therefore, you are invited to submit nominations for individuals who have had a measurable effect on the success or development of an Open Source CMS throughout the course of the Award. The people with the most nominations for each CMS will be named as MVP.
Features will be made of the MVPs from the CMS's that won Awards in the other four categories.
We will be selecting three names at
random from the list of people who nominated, who will go on to win an
iPod Nano!
