The Judges will be choosing from the finalists that received the most nominations, during the nomination stage. They will be basing their choices on a number of factors including performance, usability, accessibility, ease of configuration and customization, scalability and security. See More
The Award is split up into two main stages. Firstly, nominations will begin on July 16. This is your chance to put forward your favourite CMS in each category to through to the final stage of voting, which will be announced at the beginning of September; this is when the voting stage begins. Voting closes on October 26, with the winners announced later that month and throughout the beginning of November. See More

They will be selecting their top three based on a number of factors including performance, usability, accessibility, ease of configuration and customization, scalability and security.
The Judging panel is made up from the judges of last year's Open Source CMS Award. They are all experienced and respected figures in the open source and Content Management industry: Scott Goodwin, The Open Source Collective
Scott Goodwin is the President of The Open Source
Collective, Inc. He received a B.S. degree in Management Information
Systems and an M.B.A from the University of Southern
Mississippi. In the mid-nineties he co-founded what would become a
multi-million dollar ecommerce company then sold his interest in 2000.
For the last 4 years Scott has been actively involved in the open
source community running the varies entities under The Open Source
Collective, Inc. including OpenSourceHost.com,
and
opensourceCMS.com among others.

Lenz Grimmer, MySQL
Lenz
Grimmer is a member of the Community Relations team at MySQL AB. He
lives in Hamburg, Germany and has worked for MySQL since April, 2002.
Before joining the Community Relations team in December 2005, he was a
member of the Release Engineering team that is in charge of creating
the official release builds of the MySQL server. Prior to working for
MySQL, Lenz was an engineer in the distribution development team of
SuSE Linux in Nuremberg for four years. His first work experiences with
LAMP environments date back to 1995, when he took his first job as a
systems administrator and web developer for a small web company. He has
a degree in Computer Science and has been involved in Linux and Open
Source since 1994. In his spare time, Lenz enjoys playing with his
daughter Lena and spending time in the garden. For more

Nathan Gervais, The Eclipse Foundation
Nathan Gervais is a web developer with the Eclipse Foundation. Eclipse
is an open source community whose projects are focused on providing an
extensible development platform and application frameworks for building

Apoorv Durga, Wipro Technologies
Apoorv is Group Head with the Portals and Content Management (PCM) Group of Wipro Technologies.
He helps clients with their PCM strategies and is actively involved in
advising them about build/buy decisions, product evaluations, and
consulting in various aspects of PCM.
He has a Bachelor's degree in engineering from the Institute of Technology, Varanasi, and a Master's in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Apoorv also writes a sporadic PCM Blog and likes to go roller-skating. He is a member of Content Management Professionals and his vote here are his own views and not necessarily that of CMS Professionals.
