Now that I have had some time to look back on the whole experience of producing a book jointly with the Packt team of professional editors, I would say, their help got me to the finish line, and with a much better product than if I had tried to just write it all by myself. "Now that I have had some
time to look back on the whole experience of producing a book jointly with the
Packt team of professional editors, my impressions are:
- That is was a positive experience –
working with people who have done it all before
- That their help got me to the finish line, and with a much better
product than if I had tried to just write it all by myself
- That the layout of the book, font usage, and editing for language
and technical terms as well as style (all work done by the Packt team), came
together to produce a book that was better than perhaps I ever thought I
could produce. That's because it really is a team product – the Packt safety net of experience is with the
author all the way.
- That producing a book in the CRM field has certainly helped
establish my credentials as a CRM expert, in a way that almost nothing
else can
- That the Packt exposure and promotion of the book have helped to
significantly raise my profile in my chosen field."
