Monday, October 13, 2008 | News | Content Management The business end of the 2008 Open Source Content Management Awards is approaching fast with voting closing on Monday October 20. Six weeks into voting and over 20,000 votes have been cast across the five categories, representing a record number for this stage of the Award. The winners of each category are decided by a group of five
judges. Four are recognised industry professionals with the fifth the result of
a vote from visitors to PacktPub.com. The winners of each category will be announced
during the last week of October, with the CMS MVP’s (Most Valued People) at
each nominated open source Content Management System announced on Monday 27
October.
There is still time left to vote for your favorite CMS across the different categories. With little between the top three places in each category, your vote could play an important part in deciding who wins a share of the $20,000 prize money.
To vote, please visit the 2008 Open Source CMS Award homepage.
